Glossary
Khromosome — the Layer 1 network: a fast, quantum-secured, EVM-compatible
chain with an embedded intelligence, from genesis. Chain ID 777001.
Khrome — the product layer (apps and L2s) built on top of Khromosome: medical records, AI-CPA tax, vault, and more.
KHROME — the native token (18 decimals); pays gas and secures the network. Fixed supply of 777,000,000.
ML-DSA-87 — the post-quantum signature scheme used by Khromosome
(Dilithium, FIPS 204, NIST Level 5). Verified on-chain by a native precompile at
0x100. See Post-Quantum Security.
PQRegistry — contract that binds a quantum-safe ML-DSA-87 public key to an account as a permanent identity anchor.
PQVerifier — library wrapping the ML-DSA-87 precompile so contracts can require a post-quantum signature on-chain.
Reth / KhromePQ — the execution client. KhromePQ is the custom Reth v1.8 build that embeds the ML-DSA-87 precompile.
Lighthouse — the consensus client; runs unmodified Ethereum proof-of-stake.
Slot / Epoch — consensus timing: a slot is 12 s; an epoch is 32 slots (~6.4 min). Finality lags ~2 epochs (~13 min).
ValidatorRewards — the pre-funded pool (15% of supply) that pays validators via geometric-decay emission. See Staking.
KhromeChain — the on-chain registry of identity-anchored, content-addressed entries with consent-gated reads and a disclosure log.
Bridge — lock-and-mint path moving KHROME between Khromosome and Ethereum mainnet (KhromeBridge ↔ BridgedKHROME). See Bridge.
